Please help us celebrate both Digital Scrapbooking Day and Gotta Pixel’s 8th Anniversary by participating in Master Scrapper.
This is a spectacular challenge that pushes you to find creative ways to use only what you have in front of you and pull from the inspiration that already lives within your beautiful brain! Each week, you will be given a Mystery Box that contains a variety of different digital scrapbooking ingredients. Your task will be to take your photos and the Mystery Box ingredients and create a 12 x 12 or 8.5 x 11 layout that shows exactly how awesome you are!!
Master Scrapper is for everyone, no matter what your experience level you are at! Complete the challenge and you automatically move onto the next Mystery Box round until eventually you will earn the title of Master Scrapper.
Signups will begin October 24, 2013 ET and end October 30. Everyone who signs up will receive their first Mystery Box on November 1. Everyone will be given 6 days to finish the challenge round and you must complete the challenge by using all the ingredients in the time period in order to move forward to the next challenge!
The fine print
- You are only allowed to use the ingredients that are found in the Mystery Box.
- You do not need to use all the ingredients in your layout.
- You may duplicate or recolor items and you are free to create new shapes or creations out of what is in the Mystery Box.
- Templates and scraplifting should not be utilized during any Mystery Box round unless specifically instructed to do so.
- Brushes that mimic digital scrapbooking supplies like ribbons, buttons, journaling tags, stitching, etc, are not permitted.
- Font usage should only be for the letters, numbers and common symbols like !,.?
- You are welcome to crop or reshape your photos to fit the shape or size of ingredients included in the mystery box, however, you are not allowed to cut out things from a photo to create a new element.
